Remarks: Very late afternoon during an exercise and my first sighting of one of the ex USN F-4Js in RAF service with 74 Squadron. These very quickly gained black fins, setting a trend for a colourful era of Phantoms in the UK but pictures are rarer without it!! Also as one of the last to be delivered the piant was barley grey! This was former 155894.
