Remarks: The RAF''s last passenger Comet ( XR399) entered civvie service in 1975 and for a number of years these were the referred mode of transport for Brits heading to the fleshpots of the Costa del Sol. Finally retired by Dan Air in 1980, it also has the distinction of being the last Comet to fly in commercial colours on delivery to the museum in 1980.
